What's good for the guys is good for the gals! Call us biased, but we love our stuff. From the design, the functionality, and the colors, we are proud of the lines we're pushing season-to-season. Apart from looking good, however, our products feel good. Why? Because our top priority is to satisfy our customers' sartorial needs. Keeping that goal at the forefront of our operation, sourcing the best materials possible has been paramount in our company's aim. It is that supreme softness that (and be honest), has led to many a person borrowing/hijacking the johnnie-O clothes from their original recipients' wardrobes. We don't blame you! And while johnnie-O is a menswear brand, the ladies LOVE the stuff. And if you want to steal your man's sweatshirt, tees, sweaters etc., you have our blessing, but hey, there's no shame in settin' yourself up!

We reached out to some of the female rockstars on Team johnnie-O to find our their faves, so that you can get a grasp for their tastes in the event you want to treat yourself! Additionally, they were all kind enough to share recs on gifting (for the guys in your life). You honestly can't go wrong with our collection, but hey, who can object some tried and true gifting tips? Enjoy!

"Ok, so I have a few favorites..."

Faves:

• Flannel – super comfy. Great for lounging around or pairing with leggings and boots in the fall for a cozy look
• Crew neck sweaters – same as above. I love the oversized look so I usually go for a men’s medium (I wear a women’s XS or S)
• Hoodie woven shirt (Franky) – favorite for hitting the beach or pool. Great in the evening when it starts to cool down a bit
• Flex ¼ zip – love for working out. Super light-weight. Thin enough to wear outside to protect from the sun without feeling super hot. I like Men’s small or boys 14 or 16.
• Prep-formance tees – love for working out too. Men’s small

Favorite For Gifting:

• Flex ¼ zip (and others in that “family”) – super versatile piece. Can wear to work, golf and to workout out. Year round piece.

Faves:

• Sully. So comfortable!
• Linen Button Downs-Bertie and Bryce Button Down
  • Easy to make it casual but also prep it up a little.
• I actually fit in the boys 14/16 so any of the boys Tees are always super fun!

Favorites for Gifting:

• Any of the ¼ zips, especially the ones we bring out in the Fall/winter
• Short sleeve hangin' out button downs. Everyone loves them!

Faves:

"The Pamlico and Rylan Hoodie. Perfect for these WFH days— so comfy and easy to wear. *Pro tip - the size 16 is a perfect women’s size small"

Favorites for Gifting:

"The Sully. New colors every year, perfect year-round layering. You can't go wrong with our polos (honestly, any of them). There's always a place for a polo, so there's really no chance to disappoint"

Faves:

• Dale – my favorite sleep shirt, so soft and washes up well. I am a small in women’s but wear a medium men’s for comfort
• Sully – my girlfriends and I all have sully’s in size small, fits a bit oversized but super comfortable

Favorites for Gifting:

• If you don’t know someone’s style I always start with a sully – always a crowd favorite. Otherwise a pair of Mulligans is always a win for your outdoor friends.

KATE

Faves:

I love to wear our Dale T-shirts! They’re soft, comfortable and cooler than your basic t-shirt. They come in boys sizes depending on what fit you like.

Favorites for Gifting:

My favorite gift to give guys is our Sully 1/4 Zip Pullover. No matter the age, they’re always loved because they’re comfortable enough to lounge around in and elevated enough to dress up. I like to choose a Sully from our MLB or NCAA collection to give the gift a more personal touch. Another one is our Burns hoodie. Super soft, east grab & go piece.
