The Role
johnnie-O is looking for a Retail Operations Associate to join our Retail team! Our ideal candidate is
highly organized, detail-oriented, a team player, and has a solid understanding of retail store operations
and functions. The Retail Operations Associate plays a critical role in ensuring seamless daily operations
and serves as the primary point of contact for problem-solving, technical inquiries, and process
optimization. This individual works collaboratively with various cross-functional departments, including
store teams, e-commerce, wingmen/customer service, merchandising, accounting, and warehouse
logistics. The focus of this role is to uphold operational standards, enhance processes, and improve the
overall client experience.
Responsibilities
Daily Support:
• Manage daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operational tasks and processes.
• Assist store teams with technical and operational challenges, providing timely support and
solutions.
• Oversee store supplies and manage ad hoc requests, including equipment needs. Fulfill requests
for branded supplies and ensure inventory levels are adequate.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of gift card operations.
• Handle ad hoc accounting tasks and reporting as needed.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the VP, Retail.
Training & System Support:
• Support the rollout of new systems, procedures, and policies; update the Operations Manual as
needed.
• With support of VP, Retail, ensure all retail store systems, including the point-of-sale system, are
running efficiently and address technical issues promptly.
• Provide ongoing training and support to ensure retail locations adhere to company standards.
Inventory Management:
• Analyze any sort of inventory discrepancies and promptly resolve (reduce inventory shrinkage).
• Oversee inventory management/control protocols and procedures.
• Organize and oversee annual physical inventories for all retail locations.

Reports To: VP of Retail
Skills/Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field (preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment.
• Apparel knowledge experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, and other MS applications preferred.
• Prior Experience with Full Circle, Blue Cherry or similar ERP a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with cross-functional
teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
• Dedication to delivering outstanding customer service and achieving operational excellence.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and execute daily.
• Takes initiative to get things done, with a strong drive to improve current processes.
Benefits & Compensation
This role includes a travel component of approximately 5-10% to support new store openings, inventory
audits, and system updates.
