Kennon Joins the Johnnie-O Crew

In the world of collegiate golf, few players have shone as brightly as Kennon in recent seasons. The Florida native has made a remarkable impact on the course, highlighted by his outstanding performance in the 2023-24 season. Kennon clinched his first collegiate title at the Calusa Cup, setting a new tournament record with a six-under-par score. He followed that up with another impressive win at the 2024 Furman Intercollegiate - Kennon recorded the lowest 54-hole score in event history, adding to his growing list of accomplishments. With four top-10 finishes across twelve events, Kennon finished the season second on his team in stroke average with a solid 71.92, including eight rounds in the 60s.

Kennon's collegiate golf journey began with a strong showing as a freshman, where he tied for the team lead with 33 rounds and earned notable finishes, including tying for ninth at the NCAA Regional. His sophomore year saw him contribute crucial points in the ACC Championship and secure his first top-five finish at the Battle of the Run. Kennon’s performance continued to impress in his junior year, earning accolades such as All ACC and PING All Region honors, as well as being named a GCAA All-America Scholar.
